Best Upcoming Phones for 2018

2017 has seen some exceptional releases by leading mobile phone companies. Most notably the iPhone X, and the Samsung Note 8. However, with the smartphone evolution moving ever so fast, we can expect some great launches in 2018.



Here are some of the best upcoming smartphones in 2018

iPhone 9
Apple took the world by surprise in 2018 by releasing to high-end phones, the iPhone 8 and the iPhone X. iPhone X was meant to mark a decade of the iPhone. 
Users around the world are yet to wrap their heads around these two phones, and there are already talks of the iPhone 9. 
iPhone 9 is expected to be an improvement of the current iPhone 8. However, Apple looks set to retain their trademark features such as the Face ID. Also, they are expected to shift from a stainless steel back to aluminium to bring down the prices.
iPhone 9 is set to grace the markets in late October next year. 

Nokia 9
Yes, you heard it right. Nokia is set to launch the Nokia 9 in early 2018. Early reports indicate that the new Nokia 9 is a major improvement over its predecessor, the Nokia 8. 
Nokia will retain their trademark bothie camera on this release, but there are talks that there will be major improvements on the camera’s user interphase such has the rear camera having a wide angle and zoom capabilities. 

Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+
Barely months after launching the S8 and S8+, Samsung have already set their eyes on their next venture, the S9 and S9+. The S series has been a success for the smartphone giants, and they look to build upon their success next year with the S9 series.
The S9 and S9+ are expected to come in different sizes just as their predecessors. Samsung is also keen to improve the zoom capabilities in next years release for a more enhanced picture experience. 
There are talks that Samsung will run the S9 on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, which will ensure a smoother and faster operation. April 2018 is rumoured to be the debut month of the new release at the Mobile World Congress. 

Sony Xperia XZ2
Few mobile phone companies release phones as often as smartphone giants Sony. Having recently released the XZ1, XZ1 Compact and XA1, Sony is already pondering on its next smartphone, the XZ2. 
What’s exciting about this release, Sony’s plan to change their smartphone design. Given that we have had the OmniBalance for close to 6 years now this is big news for all Xperia enthusiasts. 

There are talks that the XZ2 will have a 5.58 inch HD display and will run on Snapdragon 845. The cameras too are set to be pretty impressive at the very least. There will be twin rear 12-megapixel cameras coupled with a 15-megapixel front camera. 

Huawei P11
Huawei has improved steadily over the years and are now seen as a formidable mobile company that can rival the big boys. In 2018 Huawei is set to launch the Huawei P11 which will be an improvement of the P10.
Among the rumoured features, is the 3D face scanning capability which is set to give Apple’s Face ID a run for its money. Also, there are to be major display improvements on this release after the P10 disappointed in that aspect. 

LG G7
The LG G7 is set to be announced in early 2018. The LG G7 will run on a Snapdragon 845 chip. The new processor is a massive improvement on the G6 which used the Snapdragon 821 chipset. 
On the design, the G7 is expected to have an iris scanner which will run on a camera rather than the usual infrared. The fingerprint sensor will be underneath the display and not in the rear as it is in its predecessor.

2018 is set to be a spectacular year regarding smartphone releases. We can expect jaw breaking innovations and designs tailor-made to meet the current customer preferences.
